This is another product by Gaines , the manufacturer mentioned above, and again is actually two products.It is similar to the above mailbox, but is one you can mount on the wall.

It has a separate lockable insert , meaning you can choose between a stand alone mailbox or one that locks. It is also made of rust free aluminum, is black in color and similar in size, being just over ten inches high and thirteen inches wide. It has also received favorable customer reviews.

This product is similar to the above and acts as a really efficient mailbox with lock, the main difference being that it doesn't have a window that displays information, that the above has. This may be worth considering if you  don't feel you need that particular feature.Prices seem about the same for both, but worth shopping around.

Prime Line Brass-Plated Steel Mailbox Lock.

This is an example of a mailbox lock that you can buy separately , and then add on to your existing mailbox.

This one is designed for old style apartment mailboxes. It has a brass plated steel case and needs just two screws to fit. There are many of these stand alone mailbox locks available, that are good quality and are pretty cheap – this is currently selling online at  just over $2 !

It is worth checking when you buy one that is will be able to be fitted on the type of mailbox you already have as some mailbox locks are meant for specific types of mailbox.
